Join us for our Second Saturday volunteer morning at the Sunrise Navigation Center. This month we will be dedicating our time to one specific and important project, refreshing and reorganizing the Donation Closet.

✨ Special Project: Donation Closet Refresh: We’ll be cleaning, sorting and reorganizing the Donation Closet so it can better serve our neighbors in need. The clothing donations at Sunrise go directly into the hands of community members who can take whatever they need with dignity. Creating a clean and organized space helps make that experience easier, more accessible and more empowering. 💛 About Sunrise Navigation Center Sunrise is a fully integrated model of care designed to support people experiencing homelessness with dignity and compassion. They bring humanitarian aid, mental and physical healthcare, substance abuse care, housing interventions, benefits enrollment and more into one unified system.

What makes Sunrise unique is how everything works together under one roof. Day center support, hotline services, street outreach, shelter, wellness programs, rapid rehousing, permanent supportive housing, homelessness prevention, family services and quick move in rehousing all operate as one coordinated approach. It works the way people work, giving clients the greatest chance of long term success.

👟 What to Expect: We’ll be indoors and possibly outdoors, so please dress comfortably with tennis shoes and weather appropriate clothing. Bring your own water bottle to stay hydrated.

🍽️ After Volunteering: For anyone who wants to hang out after, we’ll grab a bite together nearby. It’s a nice way to unwind and connect after serving our community.

Alright yall let’s fit in ONE MORE bunco before the new year ✨ a simple game + awesome people + a great location and this time HOLIDAY VIBES!

We’re taking over Lovebird’s on Cesar Chavez (they’re bringing in extra tables) and gonna pack the house. This time we will need to cap at 70, should we get there, so claim your spot! Bunco is the vehicle, but meeting new people is the goal. We'll have nametags for single/taken folks, get ready to mix and mingle!

Arrive at 7 to grab a drink and learn the game, and we’ll kick off gameplay at 7:30!

Learn, Putt & Pitch at Butler Pitch & Putt

Join us for a laid-back evening of learning, laughing, and swinging at Austin’s iconic Butler Pitch & Putt.

We’ll kick things off with a private golf class led by pro Nick Pateman, who will walk us through the basics of putting, pitching, and everything you need to feel confident on the green. After the lesson, we’ll practice what we learned, hang out, and enjoy the good vibes.

$50 per person which includes: a welcome drink, I hr private class, golf club rental and one beverage.

Schedule:
5:00–5:30 PM: Mix & Mingle (grab a drink and a bite from the onsite food truck)
5:30–6:30 PM: Golf lesson with Nick
6:30–7:30 PM: Apply your new skills and hang out

No experience or equipment needed, clubs and balls are provided. This is the perfect way to learn something new, enjoy the outdoors, and mix it up with some great people.

What to Expect: Pick CDs from the 80s and 90s to set the vibe Classic games and coloring activities with a retro twist Great music and plenty of throwback feels

Grab your boots and join us for an hour-long Texas Two-Step dance class with the amazing Beth Coffey of Dancin’ Austin at the world-famous White Horse!
